Karen W. Walter, Esq., CPCU, ARM, Senior Consultant Karen Walter, an insurance litigation attorney, joined ICA in 1994 after serving as an associate with Mendes & Mount, LLP, a large insurance defense litigation law firm in New York City, which represents Lloyd’s of London and other international insurers. Karen specializes in Third Party Claims Administration and works in the group practice that services Expert Witness and Litigation Support Clients. Some of the industries that she consults for include sporting goods, real estate, manufacturing, distributing, and non-profit trusts. In addition to servicing clients, Karen, in conjunction with Barron Wall, writes risk management and insurance related articles which have been published in numerous periodicals. Karen is a graduate of the College of William & Mary in Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and a graduate of Pace University School of Law in New York with a Juris Doctor degree. Karen is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. During law school, Karen obtained credits at the University College London and completed an internship in the Inns of Court in London, upon completion of which she received a Certificate in International Law, and a Certificate in International Trade Law. Karen has obtained her Associate in Risk Management designation as well as her Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
